If it is possible that many of these things save us, the question must be: at what point does a person enter into a saving relationship with God? Are our sins forgiven before we are baptized when one puts his “sincere trust in Jesus as his Lord and Savior”, apart from baptism? Or, are our sins forgiven at the time of baptism, assuming that faith and repentance are also present? If you believe that a person is saved apart from being immersed, then logic would say that the Lord will add to His number those who are unimmersed.
